How it works

A diamond-tipped, hollow core bit rotates through the material rather than hammering into it, producing a smooth, exact hole with none of the vibration or debris of conventional breaking. Our rigs can be set up to drill vertically, horizontally, at an angle, or even upside down, and we cut wet or dry depending on the environment. Where an opening is too large or an unusual shape for a single core, we use stitch drilling — a series of overlapping holes — to create it cleanly.
